Six Sentence Story #23 | Prompt Word: DUST
This week I wrote two stories for the Six Sentence Story blog hop: one for the SSC&B collaborative world and this one here because I enjoy writing the mini stories with the restraint of six-sentences. It's cool and sometimes a bit... challenging. The host of the hop is Denise aka Girlie on the Edge, and on Sunday she provides the prompt. On Wednesday, the link-up goes live and many awesome authors add their sixes there. Do check them out, even if you didn't fancy mine, as all writers are different and you may find something more of your cup of tea; even some on-going stories ;). Umm, musically??? Imaginary Friend and Cruel Devotion by Night Club were playing in the moment, no wonder the six became something like this... and instead of Zinfandel I had Puglia. I love the primitivo...

Ten Thing of Thankful #7 | A Journey Through Estonia
Time for a new Ten Thing of Thankful post. As tomorrow I am going to my boyfriend's friend's graduation in Viljandi, I am posting a day earlier than usual. This week was cool because I finally went out of my apartment, lol. I have been cooped up in here like a proper goblin or something (except for visiting mummy), because everything I like (my computers, coffee machine, music collection, books, bed, etc.) is here, haha. Also this thankful is a bit different, am sorry for the flood of photos but I got nostalgic. Anyway, as always, we have other participants in the blog-hop too and all of the entries can be found at the link-up. Ten Thing of Thankful #7 AKA a Guided Tour of Estonia by an...

Poetry On the margins of the First Draft #1 | the Beginning | Linked to dVerse OLN
The original poetry collected here was written and reshaped from my old work a few years ago. I wanted to see how much my writing style had changed and revisit some of my older work... The first part is the younger me and the second part is a bit older me... If that makes sense... There were 20 poems in this collection originally and I have not touched the first part, even grammatically... With the pressure from my university I have also now (2026 September) begun to upload these to the dVerse Open Link Nights. You can find many great poets at their link-up. (Authors Note) the Beginning In the dim flickering light Of the oil lamp on my bedside table I am Drunken on wine Thoughts about him...

Poetry On the margins of the First Draft #3 | Immortalized | Linked to dVerse OLN
This is yet another old piece of poetry from the first Margins collection, where I glued together some of my older poems with a newer reflection... I'm linking it up at the dVerse Open Link Night, where many poets showcase their craft. You can access all the entries...
Poetry On the margins of the First Draft #2 | Flammable | Linked to dVerse OLN
This piece is part of Margins of the First Draft — a collection of poetry that was originally written in my teens or early adulthood. I think it was fun to revisit some of them and *add additional poetry to the margins*. As I have mentioned, am now sharing them with...

Short Story | The Silence Between Us
I feel like I have nothing left to write these days. Instead of creating, I’ve been sitting on my bed in a vegetative state, guilt accumulating with every sip of wine I take. I know I should be writing—or doing something, anything. Sometimes, I catch myself simply waiting for nightfall, just so I can curl up and pretend to sleep, though occasionally, I find myself fantasizing instead.
Short Story | Absence
Any words I manage to put down feel dull and meaningless—especially compared to you, or the kind of love and admiration that has been, is, and always will be within me. I have carried it with pride, deep within my heart, shielded from the harsh realities of this world. Sometimes it feels like the purest thing I’ve ever known; other times, it feels as though I’ve sold my soul to this love, just to feel anything at all. Believe me, in the darkest times of my youth, it was the light I clung to. It was the hope that, at the end of the line, you would be there—waiting for me, arms wide open, welcoming me into the light with your embrace.I felt your absence more deeply than I have ever felt anything before.
