Metal Music – Instrumental Metal

Metal Music - Instrumental MetalIn this post, I talk and fangirl about some metal music. I chose three instrumental metal bands from my collection to talk about a little more. The reason why I chose those artists is to show the fusion of different styles. The hope and the strength of such music. And because a lot of people don’t like the vocals of heavier music, I chose artists that I think showcase this style well to those who don’t usually listen to it. Perhaps these bands will show the variety and the different sides to the vast landscape of metal music. Or answer the question: Why would you listen to that?

I like the contrast in arts and want to share my love with the world

I often listen to music that has a huge contrast in it. Be it the melodies and the chunky rhythm or changing vocals from clean to screaming. My God how I love harsh vocals… I do them in my band alongside innocent cleans. You can listen to me here or check the post on my band here. But to get back to the topic… I love the fusion of different styles and contrasting melodies and instruments in music.

I don’t talk about the technical aspect of the music too much because I think that the way it makes people feel is more important, and also am not a critic. Am not one to talk about technique because all I do is sing, for every instrument I learned I gave up.

Members of Chaos in Spring

Members of Chaos in Spring. An Illustrative photo for my band. A forest and my bands' name Chaos in Spring. Let's listen to the music! Our first single Weary Eyed is out since the 24’th of December. I want to thank everyone that took their time to check it out. Surprisingly, it has already over 1300 streams on Spotify and it grows by every hour. I couldn’t ask for more…. from a debut single. I thought there will maybe be 10 streams or so. And that from friends and family. Naturally, now that the song is out for a few days… it is the right time to talk about the Chaos in Spring members and introduce our little project in more detail.

I do it on my webpage because I haven’t yet created one for our band. Also, to be honest, I like traffic and am taking the opportunity by its horns to market both, the band and the blog.  The webpage creation is on the enormous list of things that I must do though…

And who hasn’t listened to the song yet… you can do it right here in this blogpost *wink-wink*.

Music And How I Found My Way

New metal music alert: Chaos in Spring "Weary Eyed" album cover. A foggy forest cut in half by a road (asphalt) and the title between two corner pieces.I searched long and hard in the corners of my psyche for what else to share on my blog besides my stories, poetry, and posts about mental health.  Took my sweet time and couldn’t find anything else to write about than the music that I enjoy or the bands that have paved the road to who I am today. After this post, I  want to write on topics like “Middle Eastern Vibe in Metal Music” or “Galaxies and Relaxation ” or “One Man Wonders” and such.

For the longest of time I just dreamed about making music myself but never took the bull by its’ horns. Now in the dawn of releasing my own music I thought why not write about my beloved artisans. Or how I found my way to the world of sounds. Am writing this post three days before the song of my band goes live.

Before we proceed, I must confess that I can get a little fangirly about the songs I love. Am like a little girl when it comes to music self-expression trough sounds. In this post I will talk a little bit about the backstory and about the little girl that got a little too excited over bizarre and macabre in music or movies.
