Time seems to pass by crazy fast ever since university began again, but that doesn't mean I don't have things outside of it to be thankful for… I did try to get out of my school-mind for this week's entry and also a bit this weekend.
All the entries for this blog hop are accessible at the link-up.
Ten Thing of Thankful #20
First—our BMW is getting fixed.
The sills themselves were not that bad at all (only the edges), but they removed all the under-body lining and everything, and it's getting a whole-arse-overhaul…
There were a few nasty surprises(it's an old car), but we have already spent a ton of money on it, so there's no use in not doing it correctly. I also got a lot of photos of the progress since it's being done by people I personally know. Hopefully next year we can afford to re-paint the rest of the car too.
The problem is, as a former car painter, I'm very picky about the people I trust.
So it will have to wait until we can go to my old coworker for that.
Second—had time to do my nails.
I have become super lazy during school—no make-up, no hairdo, wearing pants and sneakers (I have 20 skirts and a big collection of heels)—but I feel like a woman when my hands look good, so…
Third—rested from Friday to Sunday.
My second dad had his birthday, and we had a party yesterday at my Tallinn home. I have been sleeping the whole day aside from doing my nails—which takes a lot of time since I do them myself.
Fourth—the Six Sentence Crowd
This week, I even managed to write a new entry for the Six Sentence Cafe and Bistro and read all the entries by other people, which is my favorite pastime activity.
Fifth—dVerse Poets Pub
They do have some really awesome prompts and poets there, but I have now begun listing some of my very old work, which was old already when I uploaded it to my current blog. I just don't have time to edit my writings, so if I do create something new, I keep it on my laptop and publish it later.
This week I listed the first poem from the Margins, the series does contain some work that I wrote when I was 16 and so but they have seen some iterations...
Sixth—the Ten Things of Thankful
This blog hop sometimes makes me stare at my screen, thinking, like, the heck is there even to be grateful for??? But yet, I find those ten things every week… Such a great reminder to show gratitude for things that matter, big, or small.
Seventh—Music.
I'm listening to a Deep House mix, which is my relaxation music.
Eighth—the Mercedes
We were given another car for the time being, and when I went home last week, it was pouring rain like crazy, so my boyfriend came and picked me up. I would have been absolutely soaked if we hadn't had a car then, as there are not many taxis around where I live. It was like a shower—even my shower doesn't have as much pressure as the sky did that day, lol.
Ninth—Second Shelf to the Far Right
The TToT crowd had a fun idea—show what is on our bookshelves. Well, at home-home, I don't really have a bookshelf. Most of my books are either in storage or actually my mum's… Anyway, on my TV stand, I do have shelves, and this particular shelf has… books???

Tenth—Second Shelf to the Far Right
My Tallinn bedroom has shelves on the walls, and look! There is a huge elephant on the second shelf!
