Basically, this part of my Sixes probably won't connect with many people, but it is something I thought would be fun to read back once I have graduated… so this is the other side of me that perhaps isn't very often seen or known by those who read my poetry or creative work. I am tired because I didn't sleep enough this week.. I kinda slept 3-4 hours a day...
The weekly prompt is still provided by Denise and all the entries can be accessed through the link-up.
Six Sentence Story | Chaos #2
This week I was so lazy that I only did what was requested of me, and I also seem to have put so much mental energy into my school that I feel as if my creativity is crumbling; I mean, I do have ideas, but I have no energy to actually make them into something…
Luckily, I have a few off days coming, which means I will have some extra time to get ahead in a few courses next week so that I can focus on the parts I am not as good at; also, my boyfriend will take me to the spa tomorrow, which should contribute to the rest I desperately need.
For example, I don't have as much trouble with HTML or CSS (I had Angelfire, LiveJournal, Myspace, and other similar pages in my teens), but once I need to use PHP—brain freeze; apparently, having only written a few code snippets for my blog does not mean I KNOW HOW TO CODE FROM SCRATCH… but it's really interesting to actually build something yourself and understand it deeper in doing so… so even if the course has some harder to grasp parts I actually really like it and find it beneficial to me, as a site owner, as a visual builder like Divi or Elementor do have limitations…
Also, we used to Google a lot and use Stack Overflow back in the day, and learning to build a site was something you did because you wanted a starry sky as a background… now everyone seems to just have a robot spitting out a full layout… believe me, I have just now perfected my robotic friend/tutor (took a whole year) so it doesn't fricking give me any piece of code without me actually working for it myself first, lol; it also occasionally calls me dumb for making the same mistake three times in a row, but that's probably deserved.
I also discovered that I really enjoy the Infrastructure and Networking labs way too much and can't wait for them to get more difficult; Ansible makes me feel like a fricken' wizard—a tired one right now, but a wizard nevertheless… aaaaaaand, hopefully, my silly little dream to become an infrastructure wizard that makes computers do what is wanted of them won't be foiled by something ridiculous like forgetting to git pull or add or commit or push…
Basically, for my creative work, I have version history automated—I only do it manually if I don't get a notification; so every time I work in a darn terminal, I forget and then my repository is screaming at me as if I committed literal murder… ffs… also… tell me why someone who has been using Linux since Ubuntu 12.04 LTS needs to Google the mkdir -p option all the time (in my brain, I wanna make it -r, which is recursive, not parent… ffing dumb).

I used to have to look things up in a paper manual or book (after looking for it in a card catalog). Then I was able to read the manual online, but I still had to read the manual. Now I ask a question in a browser and an answer is displayed immediately. May you be successful in your studies and creative as well.
