Another week has passed and it's Sunday again, so it's time to share my weekly thankfuls for the Ten Thing of Thankful blog hop. This week, I am also adding some photos to the end of the post so you can perhaps have a little peek… into the things I am talking about.
The thankfuls of other participants can be found at the link-up for TToT Blog-hop.
Ten Thing of Thankful #5
First — Six Sentence Blog Hop Community.
This week I wrote for and took part in something completely different: the SSC&B community, where I was invited by Clark and Chris.
Clark and Denise, who hosts the Six-Sentence Story challenge, were also kind enough to send me some information about the story-line and encouraged me to take part.
For me, it was a completely new type of a challenge, as I have never collaborated in any kind of writing exercise before. I always thought my characters were simply too dark and that I would not be able to contribute much. Like the Nervous Poet, I too am overly nervous about things, but it was actually quite fun.
I enjoyed writing it, had fun with a few interactions and the character herself was pretty cool too, I think. Also the feedback from the community was so sweet it certainly took this one's anxiety levels down by a notch.
Second — dVerse poetry.
This week I took part in the Open Link Night again, and I have actually noticed that I write very differently from my old self now not just the other poets. Such places already have noticeably large communities, and I have found a few poets whose work I really enjoy.
I start reading other people's entries and suddenly I can't stop because they are so enjoyable. Their styles are often very different from mine, but they also encourage me to evolve and see the world a little differently through poetry.
Third — my mom and brother.
I absolutely love them, and this weekend I am visiting them. I also visited my Tallinn family, but currently I am enjoying the singing birds and grass beneath my toes, as they live in the countryside where I also lived from the ages of 3 to 23.
I will add some nature photos at the end of the post, and they are all from my childhood home.
Fourth — cats.
I love those furry little things, but as I am living in a rental, the closest I have to cats are a few little statuettes. Anyway, my mum has two old ladies, and I have also added a few photos of them at the end.
They always sleep in my bed and come running like little dogs whenever they see me getting out of the car. We do let them outside, as they never wander far from people. In that sense, they behave more like puppies than cats.
Fifth — my grandmother.
She came to visit us here, and the other day I complained that my balcony had been finished too late for me to grow anything there this year. She actually brought me a few tomato plants, which are currently still little babies, but hopefully the contractors won't need to go onto the balcony anymore and I will soon have homegrown tomatoes.
It was so sweet of her.
She also knits and made me a new key chain, of which I will also include a few photos at the end.
Sixth — my boyfriend.
I just realized that we are celebrating 12 years together this year, and honestly, I do not even call him my boyfriend anymore, I call him the other half or spouse.
He is a very calm and kind person who writes music, works as a sound technician, and encourages me to keep trying with school, my blog, and everything else.
Seventh — my muse.
My muse. Most people seem to think that a muse must be a person from your life, but mine is a strange little entity that I have carried around with me for more than half of my life.
They finally decided to return to me, and now I have so many ideas for new stories and poems that I do not even know what I am going to write first.
Eight—my sister.
Who keeps spamming me with funny reels together with my brother that when I open the chat it's flooding, haha.
Ninth — music and reading.
Inspiration is everywhere. I listen to a lot of music and read a lot, and it is one of my favorite pastime activities.
Sometimes, my favorite thing to do is simply to sit on a couch, sip a little whiskey or wine, and just enjoy... living and being.
Tenth — Sales.
I am rather unlucky when it comes to my hair. It is very thin and fine, and there are only two conditioners that seem to work for me. One of them costs around €25–30 for a very small bottle: Redken Acidic Bonding Liquid Conditioner.
The other is a drugstore product that I love which is currently being discontinued in most stores: L'Oréal Wonder Water. When I found a few bottles on sale for €6 each, I bought three of them and came home absolutely beaming.

There's more of my work:
If you like short stories I have them scooped up into one category (including the six-sentence stories).
Or maybe you prefer poetry,, more personal entries can be found at the Blog.
There's also the IT studies blog in Estonian and "Chaos in Spring" on YouTube, Spotify and other streaming services.
