Another list of grats'! I do love this practice of finding things in one's life worth mentioning and sharing them on your blog with the community. It's healing in a way.
I'll put the links to this week's community posts in the grats themselves so you can check them out if any of them seem interesting.
Ten Thing of Thankful #24
First – Six Sentence Community
I may not be reading and commenting as quickly as usual at the moment, which I've already mentioned and apologised for, but I will catch up whenever I have time.
I've also been sharing little glimpses into my life lately rather than focusing solely on my creative work, as some weeks I simply don't have the time to cook up a new story (or to edit it). But it seems that a few people do enjoy these posts, which is lovely!
Second – dVerse Poets Open Link Night
I'm also a little slower with reading and commenting, but I do enjoy the poems shared at Open Link Night whenever I get the time to read them. It's so cool that we, the poets, have a place like that!
Even if I'm currently only participating with my older poems and saving my newer work (whenever I do have time to write something) for next year, while I'm still in school, I still love being part of it.
I mean, I'll link up all of the twenty poems from the Margins currently, and hopefully, by the end, I'll have enough newer material to share. I do have a few drafts, but I'm not quite happy with them yet.
Third – Ten Things of Thankful (or Ten Thing of Thankful)
This blog hop is so cool because it makes you look at your life, no matter how hectic or crazy it is, and find a few grats to write down. It makes you notice and think about the things to be happy for…
Fourth – Henna
As someone with severe allergies that are now also present with semi-permanent hair dyes, I'm happy I can remain a redhead thanks to henna!
My natural hair colour is classified as dark blonde, and in winter, when there is no sun, it looks super ashy (potato-peel blonde), while in summer, or when I was younger, it was super light… lol.
If it was always as light as the face-framing pieces I would not dye it at all…
Fifth – We Went to the Spa
We drove around 200 km (there and back) just to visit a spa in another town neither of us had ever been to before. The town was Rakvere, and it's actually really pretty!
We spent 2.5 hours enjoying the saunas and bubble baths (jacuzzis!)… It was so relaxing. I especially love the steam saunas, and I feel so rested now.
Sixth – Our BMW
We were chilling the whole ride, with some deep-house music on… and when we got back, we were both like, “Already?!” Neither of us wanted to get out of the car, lol.
It was so relaxing, as Estonia is really pretty right now with all the colourful leaves and everything. Also, this car is so responsive that it's crazy fun and enjoyable as fff to drive!
Seventh – On Friday We Had a Tour
One of our lecturers took us to his workplace (Pipedrive) for a tour of the whole office, which was super fricking awesome! And it was empty as hell because most people work remotely. But geez, that office was really awesome!
It's a pity that they have so few junior positions in the field I eventually want to work in, but hopefully, it'll remain an option for a great internship. I'm currently putting together a list of places to consider for my internship.
I want to intern at a bigger company than the one where I did my car-painting internship, as I want to feel like I'm challenging myself and becoming great at what I do. lol.
If it makes sense…
Eighth – My Glasses
It may be weird to be grateful for such a thing… Like, am I grateful for being blind? No… Hear me out!
They're colourful, and my face is very pale in winter, and my lashes are blonde… and I have allergies. The problem is that my mascara has been causing me issues lately. I don't use makeup very often, so I can't get through a tube of mascara before the six-month period ends…
If any girlies know of any good waterproof, travel-sized, hypoallergenic mascaras, hit me up! Because I mainly use it when I go to a concert, the theatre, or somewhere fancy… I just need something I won't cry over when a bit gets bad before the expiration date…
Ninth – Music, of Course
I don't know who I would be if it weren't for my love of music.
Tenth – Databases Course
Lol. But hear me out…
I get to build my own little thing, and I'm building a database for my music collection where I can keep track of my vinyl records, cassettes, and CDs, together with a wishlist. So… it's really cool because it's something for me that I'll probably use a ton, especially when I resume my vinyl hoarding.
Even if I mostly stream when listening to music and rarely use any of my collectibles it feels nice to buy some straight from the record companies and such… it feels like am supporting my favorite artists and I get something to put on display.

There's more of my work:
All of the six-sentence stories.
The Nervous Poet Entries for the SSC&B.
There is also a page for all of the poetry.
More personal entries can be found at the Blog.
The IT studies blog in Estonian for a course at the university.
the Band "Chaos in Spring" is on YouTube, Spotify and other streaming services.
What a great list of thankful, Reelika! Building a database for your music vinyl records sounds like a great idea to organize them. You must like organizing stuff! ☺️👍
