Poetry On the margins of the First Draft #17 | Realization

Decorative title page for "Poetry on the Margins of the First Draft" featuring a vintage paper background, raven, mauve flowers, handwritten poetry, and a vintage glass heart bottle illustration.

Part of my poetry collection, Margins of the First Draft — what the hell is this even and where did it come from. I like the poem itself. I sure did have a theatrical way to convey love... Love is not that bad at all... or sad...

(Authors Note)

Realization

And so I have been doomed, to walk this earth

Without my love by my side,

Cursed to live

And write letters unheard

Poetry on the Margins #17 Melodramatically laid, on display

About the painting —
I think one tit should show.
And maybe,
a bit
of an ankle?

(referring to the last poem)
