Six Sentence Story #24 (Prompt Word: PLAN)

Six Sentence Story banner featuring a vintage quill and ink bottle above the title on a parchment-style background with the website ofstardustandthebeasts.com.

It's time for the blog hoppers to join in and share their Six Sentence Stories at the link-up, where you can, by the way, find many awesome authors. The blog hop is hosted by Denise and this time I linked-up two entries: this one here and another for the collaborative world of the Six Sentence Café & Bistro.

Musically, I'm currently listening to Sólstafir, but I've also been digging Zeal & Ardor and DeathbyRomy for the past week.

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
The link is live from Wednesday at 6:00 PM until late Saturday night.
Spread the word and support fellow writers!

PROMPT WORD: PLAN

Six-Sentence Story - the Bedroom Experiment

"Do you even have a fricking plan?"

Tom was having a serious problem hiding his annoyance with me as I had taken on the project of redoing our bedroom's layout while asking for help with moving the bed three times: from the centre of the room to the window, across the window, and then had the audacity to ask him to rotate it counterclockwise.

"I will figure it out as we go; I just need to remember where the south, and the north are to know all the others!"

"Stop reading this Feng Chew thing; it's Sunday morning... for God's sake," Tom replied to my requests for help with moving the closet across the room.

"It's Feng Shui," I laughed as I carefully laid the dishwashing liquid on the floor so the closet would be a bit easier to move.

"Besides, you agreed to my antics when you married me!"

There's more of my work:

If you like short stories I have them scooped up into one category (including the six-sentence stories).

Or maybe you prefer poetry,, more personal entries can be found at the Blog.

There's also the IT studies blog in Estonian and "Chaos in Spring" on YouTubeSpotify and other streaming services.

Ten Thing of Thankful #9 – Another Blog Hop

This week has been kind of busy with the summer solstice celebrations and my Tallinn mum's birthday on the 24th. Ten Thing of Thankful (TToT) bloghop is my way of reflecting on the week, showing gratitude for the little things that made it better, and reading the...

Six Sentence Story #4(Walk-in to the SSC&B)

This week it was not Aurelia who had gotten herself into a pickle but the author/narrator herself... We had summer solstice and a few birthdays to celebrate this week, and I genuinely left the story until the last minute because I somehow messed up the days. I thought...

Ten Thing of Thankful #8 – Another Blog Hop

Ooh, it's Sunday, and I just remembered that the week is over and I should probably share my Ten Things of Thankful for the week, which has become kind of a ritual for me to show gratitude for the little things in life. Those little things matter because, all...

OLN #410 (dVerse poetry-hop)

I had trouble coming up with a poem for this week's dVerse Poets Open Link Night, so naturally I blamed the muse for the lack of ideas rather than the fact that I stayed up half the night and expected to write something coherent the next morning while running on three...

Six-Sentence Story #23 (Prompt Word: DUST)

This week I wrote two stories for the Six Sentence Story blog hop: one for the SSC&B collaborative world and this one here because I enjoy writing the mini stories with the restraint of six-sentences. It's cool and sometimes a bit... challenging. The host of the...

A five minute poem for dVerse #1

This poem was written in five minutes because of the prompt on the dVerse Poets site, Get Out Your Crayons and Come Color with Me!. Unusual as usually one poem takes me at least a week to write/edit but the description for white gave me an idea... Thank you!...

Ten Thing of Thankful #7 – Another Blog Hop

Time for a new Ten Thing of Thankful post. As tomorrow I am going to my boyfriend's friend's graduation in Viljandi, I am posting a day earlier than usual. This week was cool because I finally went out of my apartment, lol. I have been cooped up in here like a proper...

Better get the “Feng Chew thing” right or who knows what’s going to go wrong.

    Fun Six.

Rearranging a room is the most fun one can have with inanimate objects. Of course, furniture has secret powers to alter wall sizes and closet space.

takes mad visualization skills to do it right, thinkin’ Tom might be a bit challenged in that particular faculty. Might be best to surprise him with the finished ‘product’.

Hahaha “alter wall sizes and closet space.”
whenever I tried to do it it seemed to alter the whole fricking floorplan haha.
      And poor challenged Tom… LOL

Yeah. It’s actually fun I suppose to do these little weird things.
I remember as teenager when my parents redid our house they buried some coins in the concrete, because it’s supposed to bring great luck!
