As am formatting/editing my this weeks' entry to the sixers pub, I am listening to one of the playlists I created on YouTube Music. Not that it has much to do with the unhinged plot Chris sent me on with her six this week, but I thought I would share it.
As always, the weekly prompts are shared by one of the proprietors to the storyline—Denise—and all the other entries can be found at the link-up.
Also, it seems that our Nervous Poet is here to cause chaos in the plot again... and again... and again... oops???
the Six Sentence Café & Bistro #11
Aurelia gave her best to stay in the moment as she sat on the barstool, reaching out her hand to greet her new friend—but something felt off—as if a dozen tiny legs were dancing on her back, so she excused herself to the bathroom.
"Oh, it's fricken' itchy too," she muttered as she locked the door behind her and began fighting her way out of her preppy shirt, but as luck would have it... it got stuck to the clasp of her bra...
If one positioned themself close enough to the door, a "fuck off" followed by a loud bang could be heard—as she did a full spin and crashed her arm against the washbasin—and while continuing to indulge in her ladylike vocabulary, she inspected the fabric only to throw it into the corner with disgust.
"Fucking earwigs!"
She ran out of the bathroom shrieking, completely forgetting that by now, the only thing covering her upper body was a black, floral, and beautifully laced push-up bra...
Quite a fricken' "fire" scene—if I may say so myself—but our traumatized little poet ran into one of the private booths, feeling her face burn up with the heat of a thousand suns.
