Six Sentence Story #24 | Prompt Word: PLAN

It's time for the blog hoppers to join in and share their Six Sentence Stories at the link-up, where you can, by the way, find many awesome authors. The blog hop is hosted by Denise and this time I linked-up two entries: this one here and another for the collaborative world of the Six Sentence Café & Bistro. Musically, I'm currently listening to Sólstafir, but I've also been digging Zeal & Ardor and DeathbyRomy for the past week. Six Sentence Story #24 "Do you even have a fricking plan?" Tom was having a serious problem hiding his annoyance with me as I had taken on the project of redoing our bedroom's layout while asking for help with moving the bed three times: from the centre of the room to the window, across the window, and then had the audacity to ask him to rotate it...

Ten Thing of Thankful #7 | A Journey Through Estonia

Time for a new Ten Thing of Thankful post. As tomorrow I am going to my boyfriend's friend's graduation in Viljandi, I am posting a day earlier than usual. This week was cool because I finally went out of my apartment, lol. I have been cooped up in here like a proper goblin or something (except for visiting mummy), because everything I like (my computers, coffee machine, music collection, books, bed, etc.) is here, haha. Also this thankful is a bit different, am sorry for the flood of photos but I got nostalgic. Anyway, as always, we have other participants in the blog-hop too and all of the entries can be found at the link-up. Ten Thing of Thankful #7 AKA a Guided Tour of Estonia by an...

Poetry On the margins of the First Draft #8 | The Meeting

Part of my poetry collection, Margins of the First Draft. I had an idea when I actually collected the original poems together. They were supposed to tell a whole story all together and I wonder if anyone even noticed haha. I wonder where this original plot even came from now that I read these again. I guess that's what reading 19th century plays does to you. (Authors Note) The Meeting Dearest mother, Today I did my face, Subtly and garishly My cheeks the colour of peonies And my face pale from fear My eyes swollen from the arsenic I haven’t slept in days Poetry on the Margins #8 A Pretty Kind of Grief What is it about over-romanticizing sleep deprivation and lunacy?Or the Victorians using...

Six Sentence Story #13 | With Prompt Word: MARCH

I wanted to post this one warm and raw. This week’s six-sentence story feels more like a poem, and I was afraid that if I sat with it any longer, I’d over-refine it into something it isn’t. So it’s a bit of a crossbreed... an experiment for the blog hop or something...

Six Sentence Story #12 | Prompt Word: SWING

It seems I had forgotten how the weekly six-sentence story prompts work… Last week, I thought I was late for the blog hop and ended up posting with the same prompt word as this time. The story itself can be found here. The weekly writing challenge is hosted by...

Six Sentence Story #11 | Prompt Word: SWING, FLOAT

On a Sunday evening I found myself thinking that I had been wanting to return to my blog, and also to writing prompts again. Unfortunately the link-up for the Six-Sentence Story ends on Saturday evening, so I was a little late for the blog hop part. Still, I wrote...
