Poetry book no. I (Audiobook)

Poetry book no. I audiobook album art. A blackhole and pink roses. My poetry book no. I has been out as an audiobook since November 19 on my blog and streaming services. And still, I haven’t added the YouTube Lyric Video version to my blog. Am sorry for being so late with it… But I will do it now so it is all in one place. Also I am going to talk about the poetry itself a bit. And then I will tell you what mused it and what I wanted it to be like. How it was born? Why is it poetry of madness through unrequited love.

You can listen to it on Spotify first without the spoilers and come back and check it out here.

Poetry Book no I – ACT II

Cover for the ACT II. Includes blue butterflies, spiders and spiderwebs.

Omg, omg, omg !!! Finally, after so many years of dreaming… You know, the kind where you lay in the bed just imagining… making up worlds and places. Do people still do that? I can surely say that I have spent the majority of my life daydreaming, being told that it was in vain… But well, I can now say that I do have a poetry book.

The poems were too short to be uploaded separately… But they do tell a story in 20 of them separated into ACT I and ACT II. So to get the whole story you may want to read the other post first. Also there I talk more about the book itself.

Here, in this post…

In this act, I have focused on heartbreak and acceptance.

Playing as I edit the post for final edits: SKYND.

Lady in Between – Short Story – Lyric Video

Short Story, lady in between.

Lady in Between – Short Story Lyric Video

This short story of mine was particularly hard for me to create. All the steps of it: writing, recording, editing the audio and making an video to. I love the story but I almost as if wanted it to be done fast, I couldn’t stomach it.

Dead Poet – a Six-Sentence Story

another six-sentence story, a dead poet

Another week and another six-sentence story, a dead poet… Hmm… I wonder if this one will be about the poets or the readers. Perhaps a little bit of both… but I guess we will find out soon.

Listening as I write this one: Vitali – Chaconne (live) played by Emilie Autumn

This piece is also my baby, I really like this one. Some people can perhaps already tell that this was kind of inspired by the lovely artist I listened to here. My god the 16-year-old me loved her to bits.

Six-Sentence Story – the Exchange

the exchange - six-sentence story, excerpt from the story

One of my personal favorite six-sentence stories of mine… the Exchange. I have decided to add audio to some of my writings. Even if I dabble in singing (and harsh vocals) I have always felt very insecure about my voice, especially about my ‘SSSS’, but here we go.

As of 14.10.2022 this is the only story on which I will keep my old recording up on, because it is the first time after all the fear I felt encouraged to continue recording my voice.

Master of Escapism (a Poet, a writer, Story)

Master of Escapism album art. A lady with her hair full of butterflies that represent dreams of a writer, a poet. Perhaps of one that wrote this short story.

Master of escapism is a short story of a poet, a writer that lives her life in daydreams. For her, anything but reality is more comfortable and enjoyable. Mental health conditions such as maladaptive daydreaming and dissociation mused this one.

You can find this story (and others) also on my Spotify and YouTube as an audiobook. Come and follow me for instant notifications on new audiobooks, or just subscribe my blog, am also on Tidal and iTunes and many other platforms find me by my name “of Stardust and the Beasts”.

a Lady In-Between – a short fiction

Short Story, lady in between.

Another short fiction by me.  Lady in Between is a single mother of four that lost her husband to suicide. Here we can witness her internal dialogue as she sits on her front porch looking at her kids playing on the lawn. I hope that none of you will ever have to go through a suicide of a loved one.

This story is mused by someone I know, someone I view as one of the strongest women on earth.

This and others’ of my stories and poems are also available on YouTube, Spotify etc. as audiobooks. Come and follow me there to get instantly notified when I add new stories or poetry.

Six-Sentence Story – Still Alone

six-sentence story still alone. Excerpt

This week’s entry “Still alone” to the Six-Sentence Story prompt runs a little late, I am sorry. This story feels a little more personal again. Ellie is a reflection of the young girl present in me. I can feel her. Her character… Remains true.

Six-Sentence Story – Bird in a Cage

ix-sentence story prompt Stroke of Misfortune - excerpt from the story

Bird in a cage is a continuation of my last week’s six-sentence story prompt Stroke of Misfortune. I really don’t know what to say about this one. Other than we travel even deeper into the melancholy of our sweet Evan than we did in the last part of the story. It is a fiction. But I have wrestled these thoughts myself. Some of them. To some extent. And I am not unique in this.

Poetry – I Want You to Consume Me

poetry is a weird thing, it can evoke so much emotion.

I want you to consume me is a poem written about “Desire” – a strong human emotion. It seems that I like poetry about emotion. Continue reading “Poetry – I Want You to Consume Me”
