Short Story – Elves and Fantasy

Romance and all that, short story - elves and Fantasy. A circle with flowers on it.Elves and Fantasy is a short story about falling in love with a stranger on the train. Perhaps too often we are afraid to talk to those we admire, so we admire from afar and will never know what would have happened if we just said hello.

Master of Escapism – a Short Story

Master of Escapism album ar. A lady with her hair full of butterflies that represent dreams.

Master of Escapism – a Short Story – Lyric Video

Master of Escapism is one of my personal favorites that I have ever written. It is a short story that is not as much of a fiction as others, it is about me and about the feelings that I have had ever since I was a kid. Maybe that is also why the theme is a stardust based one, the first video that I also used a background sound on.

Pianoforte – a Short Story

Pianoforte album art, keys of a piano.

This is a new short story of mine that came to life from me listening to Chopin’s Nocturnes on repeat for the whole night. In no way do I say that the male character is him in this story… And I just love the word “pianoforte”, it sounds beautiful to me.

As of 14.10.2022 this story is up on different streaming platforms, remixed and mastered. Fun fact is, this is the only story I did not rerecord.

Dead Poet – a Six-Sentence Story

another six-sentence story, a dead poet

Another week and another six-sentence story, a dead poet… Hmm… I wonder if this one will be about the poets or the readers. Perhaps a little bit of both… but I guess we will find out soon.

Listening as I write this one: Vitali – Chaconne (live) played by Emilie Autumn

This piece is also my baby, I really like this one. Some people can perhaps already tell that this was kind of inspired by the lovely artist I listened to here. My god the 16-year-old me loved her to bits.

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.

Late Mornings – six-sentence story

Late Mornings - six-sentence story, excerpt

Another week, another six-sentence story, this week was a bit unexpected for me personally… Let’s hear “Late Mornings”. I was prepared to dive into the spooky and horror, to show off the different sides of my voice on the recording. But well, the prompt word took me someplace else. And my interpretation of the male character in this story left me dry… But id became one of the most romantic pieces I have ever written, especially through the eyes of a man. I think I personally quite adore this one.

Six-Sentence Story – the Exchange

the exchange - six-sentence story, excerpt from the story

One of my personal favorite six-sentence stories of mine… the Exchange. I have decided to add audio to some of my writings. Even if I dabble in singing (and harsh vocals) I have always felt very insecure about my voice, especially about my ‘SSSS’, but here we go.

As of 14.10.2022 this is the only story on which I will keep my old recording up on, because it is the first time after all the fear I felt encouraged to continue recording my voice.

Master of Escapism (a Poet, a writer, Story)

Master of Escapism album art. A lady with her hair full of butterflies that represent dreams of a writer, a poet. Perhaps of one that wrote this short story.

Master of escapism is a short story of a poet, a writer that lives her life in daydreams. For her, anything but reality is more comfortable and enjoyable. Mental health conditions such as maladaptive daydreaming and dissociation mused this one.

You can find this story (and others) also on my Spotify and YouTube as an audiobook. Come and follow me for instant notifications on new audiobooks, or just subscribe my blog, am also on Tidal and iTunes and many other platforms find me by my name “of Stardust and the Beasts”.

Six-sentence story – Ember

ember - six-sentence story excerpt

I just realized that Ember is my seventh (if I did not read wrong) six-sentence story. Originally I wanted to write a poem but lost track. I couldn’t make it long or short enough to qualify. So I ended up with this. I don’t know why but I am really into writing poetry and stories about unrequited love… Yes, I have felt it. But this is not the only love I have known, neither is the most significant one.

a Lady In-Between – a short fiction

Short Story, lady in between.

Another short fiction by me.  Lady in Between is a single mother of four that lost her husband to suicide. Here we can witness her internal dialogue as she sits on her front porch looking at her kids playing on the lawn. I hope that none of you will ever have to go through a suicide of a loved one.

This story is mused by someone I know, someone I view as one of the strongest women on earth.

This and others’ of my stories and poems are also available on YouTube, Spotify etc. as audiobooks. Come and follow me there to get instantly notified when I add new stories or poetry.
